January 6-10 2025 Custom One-on-One Intensive Session
Overview
This winter LAAP invites you to participate in a 5-day drumming apprenticeship intensive w/Amir Ziv, and take your musicianship, artistry, and rhythm to the next level.
Drummers will work with Amir on three style-less fundamentals of drumming:
Harmonic / Melodic Rhythm, Coordination, and Technique.
Intensive daily training will significantly increase your abilities in your craft and pave the road to advance your musical expression and the art form to new heights.
Formats / Tuition
Custom One-on-One 5-day Intensive Format
In this format you will work one-on-one exclusively with Amir, custom tailoring your intensive to your individual pace and specific needs.
Dates: January 6-10
Total training time w/Amir: 25 hrs
Location: Flexible - Your intensive could take place at one of the NYC studios Amir is affiliated with, or it could take place at your own studio or home studio.
Daily Schedule:
10am - 12:30pm Session #1
12:30-2:30pm Lunch/rest break
2:30 - 5pm Session #2
Tuition: $3000
* $200 Discount available to current/returning students
Private Lessons via Zoom
Amir is currently accepting new students for private lessons on line.
Topics can include: Technique, Coordination, Harmonic Rhythm (polyrhythms), Phrasing, Forms, Styles, Grooves, Odd Meters, Soloing, Sight Reading, Orchestration, Performance Techniques, and Tuning.
One hour $100 /Two hours $180

Deposit • Cancellation Discount • Consultation
Deposit
After you submit your registration form, we review your application within 2 business days and once approved, we will send you a confirmation email with an invoice for a non-refundable $500 deposit. The deposit must be paid in order to secure your spot in the session. The deposit will be applied toward the total tuition fee for the session. The balance of the tuition fee is due by the first day of the session and is payable by cash, Venmo, Pay Pal, or certified bank check made to “Amir Ziv”.
Refund and Cancellation
The deposit is non-refundable unless the event is canceled. If you need to cancel your participation in the program, please contact us as soon as possible. The full remaining balance will be charged if your cancellation is made after December 1st, 2024.
Tuition Discount for current/returning students
We offer a $200 discount to any current/returning students of LAAP/Amir Ziv.
